Bsaxz (Bishopsaxz) is British-Nigerian Gospel and Smooth jazz Saxophonist, a songwriter, composer, producer, and a bachelor's degree holder in Religious Education (B.R.E) and Human Resource Management. He is also the Co-founder of Bishopsaxz Music School.

BishopSaxz (Olaniyan F Samson) is a multi-instrumentalist playing; keyboard/piano, drums, and bass guitar. As his name goes, his favourite instrument is the Saxophone, favouring the Alto, Tenor and Soprano, depending on the mood of the song.

 

Bishop's influences are as diverse as they get ranging from south American Salsa, American Blues and Gospel, to his native Nigerian Afrobeat. He has played and performed with both Gospel and Secular Artists such as Jonathan Nelson, Jason Nelson, Mike Aremu, Chris Delvan, Giorgia Smith, Stormzy, Dave, Headie one, Wizkid, Davido {to name a few) and Burna Boy (who he currently tours with).

After many years of performing experience, Bsaxz possesses a unique tone on the sax that can be called the "bishop's tone'; it leaves memories with the listener. This memorable tone has taken Bsaxz across the UK & worldwide, performing in such prestigious venues as the O2 in London, Madison Square Garden in New York, and the Eko hotel in Lagos.
